How do I record a bust?

Tap Mark bust for that player, then tap the duplicate card that caused it. The app only offers cards that player is holding, because a bust is always a duplicate of one already in front of them. Recording the card is optional — the round still scores zero without it — but it is what makes the nemesis card work.

Why is my nemesis card blank?

Because it has not earned the right to say anything yet. Card 12 appears twelve times in the deck and card 5 only five times, so almost everyone busts on high cards most often — that is a fact about the deck, not about you. Nemesis instead reports the card that busts you more often than it should, and it stays quiet until you have at least eight recorded busts.

How is a round scored?

Add up the different number cards kept. The ×2 card doubles that sum. Then +2 to +10 are added. Seven different number cards is a Flip 7, worth 15 points, and the ×2 does not double that bonus. Busting scores nothing.

What is Nemesis Mode?

An optional house rule, off by default. With it on, busting costs you the value of the card that got you — bust on the 12 and you lose 12 points. Busting on the 0 is free. A second switch decides whether a total may drop below zero, or whether a player simply stalls at zero.

House rules are saved with each game as you start it, so turning a setting on or off never changes a game already in your history.

Does it support Flip 7: With a Vengeance?

Not yet. With a Vengeance is a separate game with its own deck and its own scoring, not a variant of the original, so it needs to be done properly rather than approximated. It is on the list.

How do I back up my games?

About → Export a backup writes a copy of every game you can save to Files or send to yourself. Worth doing occasionally. Deleting the app deletes its data, so an export is the only copy that survives that.

I lost my history

Open About first. If anything went wrong reading your save file, that screen will say so and will tell you the name of the copy it kept aside — the app never overwrites scores it could not read. Email us with that message and we will help you recover it.
